You can download VehicleVault from the Apple App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android devices. Simply search for "VehicleVault" or use the download buttons on this page.

Use your email address as your username and find the temporary password included in your VehicleVault welcome email. Search your inbox for a message titled "Welcome to VehicleVault" - you'll use this password to log in for the first time, then create your own secure password.

To function properly, VehicleVault needs:

• Bluetooth - to detect and communicate with your tracking tag
• Location (Always Allow) - to track your tag's last known location, especially when the app is in the background
• Camera - to scan the QR code on the tag during setup

These permissions ensure the app can keep your keys connected and findable at all times.

Open the VehicleVault app and tap the "Add Tag" button. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan your tag's QR code using your camera. The app will automatically detect and pair with your tag via Bluetooth. The entire process takes less than a minute.

VehicleVault uses Bluetooth technology to maintain a connection between your phone and your tracking tag. The app continuously logs your tag's last known location and allows you to trigger an audible alert on the tag to help you find your keys when they're nearby. If your keys are lost or stolen, the last known location is saved in the app.

On the main screen, tap the plus (+) icon next to "My Items". You'll go through the same simple pairing process as your first tag. You can add multiple tags to track different sets of keys or other valuable items.

Open the app and select your tag from your items list. The map will show the last known location of your keys. If they're within Bluetooth range (typically 100-200 feet), you can tap "Find" to make the tag emit a loud sound, helping you locate them quickly.

Yes! VehicleVault works in the background to continuously monitor your tag's location. Even when the app is completely closed, it will record the last known location of your keys. This is why we request "Always Allow" location permission.
